MStep scores are in!  Individual student scores are being sent home.  The MStep, a standardized test given each spring, helps schools to identify areas in which students are doing well, as well as those areas that might need further attention.  Each year the testing data is reviewed by staff and plans are made to address areas of weakness.  We also concentrate on areas where we can celebrate together for a job well done!  This year, we want to acknowledge the classes of 2026 and 2024 for their outstanding scores in English Language Arts, Math and Social Studies.  Other highlights include that Litchfield outscored neighboring districts in 8 testing categories.  In those areas where we were outscored, we are developing strategies to improve our students understanding and abilities.  See the accompanying chart for specific score data:
